Erin’s arm is slightly bigger than it was yesterday. However it’s still not noticeable enough to show up in a photo. As I said in yesterday’s post, I did start giving her Prednisone after she ate breakfast. Then of course she got her daily Naproxen medication too. I sent an email to the preschool teacher giving her a “heads up” that Erin may be grumpy. To my surprise, the teacher responded after preschool was over to tell me it was Erin’s best day at school yet! She participated, talked, and sang way more than she has so far this school year. Now that she’s warming up to school, she’ll be gone for two weeks. At least she’ll have something to look forward to when we head home.
My friend Tina is still working on selling some of the larger items we had left over from the garage sale. Last night Tina sent me an email and said, “I was just amazed that on a day when the market took such a huge hit, people still came over and gave us more than we were asking for the garage sale items, because they wanted to help Erin. I sold the computer desk and the organ today – and they will both be put to good use.” Yeah!!!
